Temporary Substitute Teacher Incentive Pay
Jordan School District is excited to announce the implementation of a new Temporary Substitute Teacher Incentive Pay Program.


For APRIL 2022, substitute teachers with NO CANCELLATIONS and who qualify as outlined below, will be paid on May 10, 2022.  The April tiered substitute teacher bonus incentives are as follows:

12 days worked = $200

10 days worked = $120

8 days worked = $80

6 days worked = $40

Benefit eligible substitute teachers working full time at various schools throughout the Jordan School District, DO NOT QUALIFY for the monthly substitute teacher bonus incentives, since they are required to work every school (contract) day.

Substitute Teacher Expectations
Substitute teachers should arrive 15 minutes before students (when possible). Substitute teachers should stay 15 minutes after students leave (when possible).

Full Pay on Fridays and Shortened Days
Substitute teachers will receive a full day of pay on Fridays and shortened days, even though they may leave 15 minutes after students are dismissed.
